Superdrug Range Change
Client:
Meiyume Retail Solutions
Brief:
To walk in and update fixtures with new parts and POS. To remove discontinued products, move any being put into new positions on the stand and cite all new parts, POS, and product lines to the planogram and instructions provided. To leave fixtures tidy and beautifully merchandised to drive maximum sales of the new products and ranges for the brand.
Our response:
eXPD8 started planning this activity with the brand 12 weeks out to ensure the best possible results. Based on previous similar activities completed, eXPD8 trialled a new process for this range change to ensure 100% of the range change kits were walked into stores to increase first visit compliance and minimise the number of spares required.
Visits were carefully assigned by eXPD8’s Field Management team who were briefed on the activity in advance to ensure they were aware of the importance of the update and could input into planning.
Prior to kits and instructions going to print, eXPD8 also worked collaboratively with the brand and our Beauty Ambassadors to test both elements in store to ensure the update was executed smoothly and any issues or considerations were discussed and agreed ahead of time.
As a result of this, eXPD8 were able to achieve 93% first-time compliance, visit 100% of stores and walk 100% of kits into stores. The new process trialled for the transportation of kits was so successful our team now use it for all beauty range changes and any initial compliance issues were resolved with further visits to ensure all stores’ fixtures are compliant.
